Chesu Puente
Interior Designer
From a young age, Chesu Puente was driven by an innate instinct for art. Born in Madrid, she hails from a family of accomplished artists, growing up amidst renowned painters, actors, sculptors, and musicians. By the age of 5, she was enrolled in classes for piano, singing, and painting. Retaining her sense of awe and benefitting from the liberating backdrop that the world of art provides, Chesu continued to cultivate her appreciation for aesthetics in a natural and unrestrained manner, meticulously observing the minutiae of details and contemplating shapes, lights, and their impact on the surroundings.
Trained as a filmmaker and guided by instinct as a decorator and interior designer, Chesu discovered that many principles learned from eminent film directors can be applied to real life, aligning with the finest script of our lives. This involves crafting the optimal framework and capturing the best scenes, allowing beauty and harmony to enhance the unique rhythm that defines living our own story.
Embodying this concept and fueled by passion, Chesu executed her inaugural project in Madrid in 2014, and since then, her work has known no bounds, reaching beyond the borders of Spain.
Her approach involves a blend of roles—mixing, directing, and interpreting trends and spaces, either from the present or the past, tailored to the specific requirements of each project. It is this and more that distinguishes Chesu Puente as a distinctive interior designer: the ability to play with spaces, fashioning diverse worlds only to illuminate them later, akin to masterful cinematic sequences.
